How we install it

Step 1

Survey & quote

We assess the roof, discuss tile choices and provide a clear itemised quotation.

Step 2

Strip & prepare

The old covering is removed where included and the structure checked before new materials go on.

Step 3

Membrane & battens

Breathable membrane and treated battens are fitted at the correct gauge for your chosen tile.

Step 4

Tiling & detailing

Tiles are laid and the ridges, hips, valleys and verges detailed to weather every junction.

Ideal for

  • Most pitched roofs across the South West
  • Re-roofs replacing worn concrete or clay tiles
  • Extensions matched to an existing tiled roof

Options & finishes

  • Plain tiles, interlocking tiles and pantiles
  • Clay tiles for a traditional finish
  • Dry ridge and dry verge systems

Important considerations

  • Tile choice affects both appearance and cost — we'll show you options.
  • Manufacturer warranties on the tiles are separate from our workmanship guarantee.
  • Heavier tiles may need the structure checked for suitability.

Tiled Roofs — your questions answered

Concrete or clay tiles — which is better?

Concrete tiles are cost-effective and come in many profiles; clay tiles offer a traditional look and hold their colour well over time. Neither is universally 'best' — it depends on your home, budget and the look you want. We'll explain the trade-offs at your quote visit.

Can you match my existing tiles?

Often, yes — especially for extensions and repairs. Where an exact match is no longer made, we'll source the closest available option and explain the difference before proceeding.

What guarantee comes with a new tiled roof?

A 20-year workmanship guarantee, confirmed in your written quotation. Tile manufacturer warranties are separate and depend on the product chosen.
