This notice explains what happens to your information when you use this website, request a roofing quote or contact our team.

Who is responsible for your information?

Quantock Paving Ltd, trading as Quantock Roofing, is the controller of customer and enquiry information. Company number: 16165417. Our address is Halcyon, Fowls Mead, Stretcholt, Bridgwater, TA6 4SR.

Information you give us

• Your name, telephone number, email, property address and postcode.
• The roofing service you need, urgency, access details and messages you send.
• Photographs and correspondence you share directly, including through WhatsApp.
• Roof calculator inputs such as the selected property, drawn roof area, measurements, materials and estimate, if you submit an estimate enquiry.
• Your contact preferences and any optional marketing or cookie choices.

Required fields are marked on the form. We need enough contact and property information to respond; you can also call us. Please avoid including information about other people or sensitive information that is not needed for the job. Send roof photographs on WhatsApp when requested.

Why we use it and our lawful bases

• Enquiries, quotes and work: to take steps at your request before a contract and to carry out agreed roofing services.
• Customer support, complaints and guarantees: to perform our agreement and for our legitimate interests in managing customer relationships and resolving issues.
• Business records: to comply with applicable accounting and legal duties, and to establish or defend legal claims where necessary.
• Website operation and security: our legitimate interests in keeping the website available, preventing abuse and understanding technical faults.
• Optional marketing and advertising cookies: your consent. You can withdraw it without affecting your roofing enquiry.

The calculator provides an indicative estimate, not a binding quotation or an automated decision about whether we will carry out your job. The final scope and price require an assessment.

While you use the calculator, your address, measurements and roof answers are saved in your browser's session storage so you can return to earlier steps. Submitting an estimate enquiry sends the relevant details to our enquiry system.

Website and enquiry providers

The website is hosted by Vercel. Enquiries are delivered through Formspree to our business email inbox. These services receive the data needed to host the site or deliver your enquiry. We do not sell your contact details.

The roof calculator uses Google Maps for address search and aerial mapping. When you use these features, Google receives map requests and the address or location being searched. See Google's privacy policy. If you prefer, request a quote by telephone or through our standard form.

WhatsApp links open a separate service. Information you choose to send there is handled under WhatsApp's privacy policy as well as being received by our team.

Usage information and advertising

Hosting and security systems process technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested page and time. Our forms also include enquiry source information, such as the referring page and campaign tags, to help us understand where enquiries came from.

Vercel Web Analytics provides website usage statistics without advertising cookies. With your permission, Google Ads also loads to measure advertising and support relevant advertising. We do not deliberately send the contact details entered in our forms to advertising tags. See the cookie policy for your choices.

Where information is processed

Our technology providers may process information outside the UK. Formspree describes its hosting as being in the United States; Vercel and Google operate internationally. Their linked privacy notices explain their processing and transfer arrangements. Contact us if you would like details of the safeguards applicable to your information.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose of the record: whether an enquiry is still active, whether work has been carried out, the applicable guarantee, and accounting requirements or a dispute. Customer and guarantee records may need to be held longer than an unsuccessful enquiry. Contact us to ask about retention or deletion of a particular record.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, have it erased, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time and withdraw consent for future processing. Some records may still need to be kept to meet legal obligations or deal with a claim.
